Description Leonid Natapov 2023-06-27 16:05:52 UTC
We have to update collectd in RHEL8 to the latest version that include all recent bug fixes.

Foe example after FFU from 16.2 RHEL8 to 17.1 RHEL9 I see different container images in upgraded overcloud nodes vs clean deployed overcloud nodes. For example if I deploy clean OSP17.1 RHEL9 collectd version that I have inside collectd container is collectd-5.12.0-10 but on upgraded nodes the version is collectd-5.12.0-2 which is lower.

We have to have same collectd version for OSP17.1 on RHEL8 and RHEL9

Comment 8 Leonid Natapov 2023-07-18 08:47:52 UTC
collectd version on RHEL8 after upgrade to 17.1 is collectd-5.12.0-10.el8ost
