1. Proposed title of this feature request
ODF Capability to support RWX on 2 node cluster (SNO+Worker).

2. Who is the customer behind the request?

3. What is the nature and description of the request?
Business use case is for vDU(far site edge cases) deployed on SNO servers (with 1 worker) using ODF for storage

4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
Customer requirement is RWX (ReadWriteMany) storage that can be shared among the pods in a SNO+worker cluster setup. This feature shall be useful for solution's where SNO is being used for far edge site scenarios(vDU in RAN solution). The vDU node spec is typically decided as a powerful and latest and hence the expectation is to have support for two-node RWX, least for SNO+Worker deployment model.

5. How would the customer like to achieve this?
Customer would like to have a capability on RH's ODF solution which can provide RWX on a SNO+worker (2 node cluster).

6. For each functional requirement listed, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.

7. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?
No.

8. Does the customer have any specific timeline dependencies and which release would they like to target (i.e. RHEL5, RHEL6)?
OCP4.14+

9. Is the sales team involved in this request and do they have any additional input?
Yes

10. List any affected packages or components.
ODF, odf-operator

11. Would the customer be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented?
Yes

This should be on ocs-operator as Rook works for a single node cluster for test scenarios,
