Description of problem: I installed a package using Software and then I wanted to open the application right from it using the Open button. The application did not open and a crash was reported. However, the application stayed responsive, just I cannot open any application using the open button. uhhh...? This was not reported against gnome software. Did the app you happened to install was Setzer ? Did you have Setzer installed/running ? Maybe was the crash unrelated to everything else ?
Okay, so I think this is just a forgotten dependency. Sorry for that ^^'. I'm fixing dependencies ! For now, try to install `python3-bibtexparser`. But you said that you weren't able to open any other app ? When reproducing this issue, I am still able to open other apps. With which apps did you try ?

Sorry for the duplicate report (via ABTR) - I didn't know the update was already pushed to testing. Thank you, the update seems to work - in the very least the missing dependency is requested, installed and Setzer starts. (I didn't test anything more yet.)
