Description of problem: When trying to select a suffix to export, the drop-down list always keeps the first suffix in the list. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ cat /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.8 (Ootpa) $ $ rpm -qa | grep 389-ds 389-ds-base-1.4.3.31-11.module+el8dsrv+17815+4f95348d.x86_64 cockpit-389-ds-1.4.3.31-11.module+el8dsrv+17815+4f95348d.noarch 389-ds-base-libs-1.4.3.31-11.module+el8dsrv+17815+4f95348d.x86_64 $ How reproducible: Always ( at customer site and internally ). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure there are at least two defined suffixes. 2. Select the "Database" tab 3. Select "Backups $ LDIFs" on the left pane 4. Select the "LDIFs" tab 5. Click on "Create LDIF" button 6. Try to select another suffix in the drop-down list 7. The new selection is not taken into account Actual results: Cannot select a suffix to export. Expected results: Should be able to select suffixes. Additional info: The workaround is to use the documented steps ( select the suffix under the node "Suffixes", then click on "Suffix Tasks" and select "Export Suffix" )
Fixed upstream: https://github.com/389ds/389-ds-base/issues/5793
Builds tested: 389-ds-base-1.4.3.37-1.module+el8dsrv+19621+efe8bde6.x86_64 cockpit-389-ds-1.4.3.37-1.module+el8dsrv+19621+efe8bde6.noarch I followed steps from the description and was able to select both suffixes and create LDIF files. Marking as VERIFIED.
