calibre has recently moved to requiring podofo 0.10.1 in their pdf wrapper. It would be great if we could upgrade the fedora package. It may well also close a bunch of security bugs that have been lingering here for a while? Happy to help... Reproducible: Always
It is on my radar, but I'd need to port gImageReader first. Unfortunately, porting from podofo 0.9.x to 0.10.x is not really trivial.
I've ported gImageReader, checked the status of other dependent packages here [1]. Looks like the following needs to be ported as well: - scribus: upstream has added PoDoFo-0.10 detection support in cmake, but the code itself still seems to expect 0.9.x - vfrnav: no upstream porting effort to 0.10 - pdfsign: no upstream porting effort to 0.10 [1] https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/smani/podofo-0.10.1/builds/
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle. Changing version to 39.
