Comment 1 Kedar Bidarkar 2023-07-12 12:08:39 UTC
We can do the testing entirely using virtctl

This bug is about client side usb redirection, that connecting a usb device to the laptop and expecting it visible on the VM.

More info can be obtained from this link, https://kubevirt.io/user-guide/operations/client_passthrough/

Comment 2 zhe peng 2023-07-14 04:17:12 UTC
verify with build: CNV-v4.12.5-20

step:
1. create vm and start
2. login virt-launcher pod
3. check missing pkg
sh-4.4$ rpm -qa | grep usb
libusbx-1.0.23-4.el8.x86_64
usbredir-0.12.0-1.el8.x86_64
qemu-kvm-hw-usbredir-6.2.0-11.module+el8.6.0+18167+43cf40f3.8.x86_64

pkg already added. move to verified
