A new bug-fix update for the 1.10.x branch came out, specifically targeted for RHEL 8:
https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/releases/tag/1.10.8

Most interestingly, it includes some security fixes (bug 2180311) and addresses several regressions in 'flatpak history'.

We are currently carrying flatpak-1.10.7 in RHEL 8.  flatpak-1.10.8 has less than 20 commits on top of that -- all of them backported from newer branches that we are carrying in RHEL 9 and Fedora, and many of them are tests.  So this should be pretty safe.
