libqb 2.0.8 (to be released shortly) contains a collection of useful bug fixes, not least:

ipc: Retry receiving credentials if the the message is short (#476)
timer: Move state check to before time check (#479)
tests: Close race condition in check_loop (#480)
blackbox: fix potential overflow/memory corruption (#486)
blackbox: fix actual overflow memory corruption with long messages (#490)
