Description Fedora Release Engineering 2023-07-25 18:14:32 UTC
jrnl failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f39

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=103612660

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_39_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix jrnl at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
jrnl will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 40,
jrnl will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Ben Beasley 2023-07-25 18:36:02 UTC
This is still waiting on ansiwrap, 2220020, https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-ansiwrap/pull-request/2.

In the long term, upstream is likely to remove the ansiwrap dependency: https://github.com/jrnl-org/jrnl/pull/1693
