Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. When re-installing Fedora 6 (without re-formatting partitions) this problem occurs every time, in the first time installation it didn't happen, though. 2. 3. Actual results: At the end of the installation, grub gives an unhandled exception and it doesn't install at all. Expected results: Additional info: File "/usr/lib/booty/bootloaderinfo.py", line 738, in "writeGrub" also in line 1188, in "write" ...
Grub attempted to write to a partition, /boot, that was removed (accidentally). When "upgrade install" is selected the Feodra installer Anaconda must check if /boot is there and writable to avoid a disappointment at the end of installation.
