what part of your dependency tree needs this? It was deprecated and is unmaintained upstream.
Yup, this was replaced by: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/httpcomponents-client/blob/rawhide/f/httpcomponents-client.spec This. package was officially deprecated in Fedora 30: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Deprecate_Apache_Jakarta_Commons_HttpClient
There was an explicit requirement in the arduino package. I removed the requirement from the Arduino package, and it still built and installed. I will close this request.
