This PR is about reverting the existing PR - https://github.com/rook/rook/pull/12715. We intend to keep this change for sometime. I'll confirm with Mudit how long we want to delay reverting this.
Shouldn't we be reverting the ocs-operator and not the rook PR?
Also, this is already a blocker so we can keep it open till RC also. Create a revert PR and move this to POST?
(In reply to Mudit Agarwal from comment #6) > Shouldn't we be reverting the ocs-operator and not the rook PR? Right. I wanted to add the OCS operator PR link. I'll create a PR to revert the OCS operator changes.
We still need to revert
Verified on the build 4.14.0-157. 1. Deployed 4.13 ODF with 4.14 ocp cluster 2. Upgraded the ODF to 4.14.0-157 After the upgrade we see only bluestore in /var/lib/ceph/osd/ceph-0/type. sh-5.1# cat /var/lib/ceph/osd/ceph-0/type bluestore Thanks to Pratik Surve for helping me to verify this bug.
