Description Eduard Abdullin 2023-08-25 14:17:30 UTC
Hello!
I tried to install "rss2email" package from epel-7 repository, but it failed with the following error:

 Problem 1: conflicting requests
  - nothing provides python-html2text >= 3.01 needed by rss2email-2.71-8.el7.noarch

"python-html2text" exists in epel aarch64 repository, but not in x86_64 repository.
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/aarch64/Packages/p/python2-html2text-2019.8.11-1.el7.noarch.rpm

I'm not sure what I can do about that - the most recent version should use python3, not python2 - and that version is also in the repositories.
Can you force the resolver to use the most recent package (2019.9.26-3.el7), and if you do, what does stop it from installing it?
