Comment 2 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2023-08-28 15:56:19 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 39-beta by Fedora user dcavalca using the blocker tracking app because:

This update replaces the rpmfusion package providing the same files, thus avoiding conflics and putting users on a more future-proof upgrade path.

Comment 3 Geoffrey Marr 2023-08-28 19:42:05 UTC
Discussed during the 2023-08-28 blocker review meeting: [0]

The decision to classify this bug as a "RejectedFreezeException (Beta)" was made as there really isn't sufficient justification provided for why this should happen during freeze. We're happy for this to be re-proposed with more justification.
