The tarball contains Korean translations (based on man-pages-ko-20050219) which are still disabled.

We don't have native Korean speakers in the team, so it's merely up to me to do some work on the translations to make them ready for publication. We skip Korean for the time being, but I'm quite sure the next release in december will have the translations enabled. So it would be a good idea to retire the man-pages-ko-20050219 package.

Just notice that man-pages-ko uses Epoch: 2.

Maybe man-pages-l10n also needs to use Epoch: 3, after the Korean man pages are ready in man-pages-l10n.

Nice catch Peng,

I forgot to close this BZ, but I'll leave it open until the next version of man-pages-l10n so we don't forget about these things.

However, the newest version of man-pages-l10n is already in Fedora Rawhide

PR merged: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/man-pages-l10n/pull-request/21

Peng, could you please grant me admin access to the man-pages-ko so I can properly retire it?

Or if you prefer, you can do it yourself by executing `fedpkg retire "Obsoleted by the new 4.21.0 version of man-pages-l10n"`

Thanks

Comment 6 Peng Wu 2024-01-18 04:15:19 UTC
Sorry for the late reply.

I added you to the admin group of man-pages-ko.

Comment 7 Lukas Javorsky 2024-01-18 23:31:35 UTC
Rebased and the man-pages-ko retired
