However, we don't believe that this bug is exploitable on Fedora or RHEL. Moreover, the bug is in code which reads COFF files, which is an object/executable format that is not used by Linux and for which support for outputting this format was removed in GCC 8, which was last in use in Fedora 29. Therefore, fixing this bug for Fedora is of very low priority.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 40 development cycle. Changing version to 40.
