Boot a f39 installer, create partitions including one btrfs volume and set mount point to /home,try to occupy all the /home space,I used scp. When the low-disk-space warning pops up,click the "Examine" button, gnome-disk will crash immediately, and gnome-shell will quit when you try to open some apps. This only affects btrfs. ext4/xfs on lvm/stand partition is not affected. I think we should set a higher slot number,so that users could have enough /home space to check what's going on,and handle it properly. Not sure if this the right place to report, please feel free to reassign, thanks. Reproducible: Always

Propose as a Final FE as it acts like a disaster, and may cause data loss.Besides,it kind of violates :https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_39_Final_Release_Criteria#Default_application_functionality

Checked on system with the newly Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-39-20230916.n.0.iso installed, still saw this problem. As you can see from screencast2(you can watch it from 32s to save your time)I also found the work around (removing large file from non-gui terminal) doesn't work well, the system stuck after you removed the file, and try to switch back to gui.I'm thinking maybe we should also consider this as a blocker?
The low space notification comes from gnome-settings-daemon. Reassigning to gnome-settings-daemon.
Discussed during the 2023-09-25 blocker review meeting: [0] The decision to classify this bug as a "RejectedFreezeException (Final)" was made as we don't see how an FE would benefit versus a 0-day update here; typically if you're running out of disk space it would be after using the system for a while, not immediately after install.
