Some PDFs that contain images, where the original images have transparency, come out on paper as black rectangles. This happens when printing from 'lp', using the native gutenprint driver, using the gimp-print-ijs driver, and using the hpijs driver.

Also tried with the the "EPSON Stylus Color Series CUPS v1.2" driver provided with CUPS.
Reported upstream.
Upstream guidance is that this will be fixed in CUPS 1.4 with the move to poppler for PDF handling.
