The new OpenType format gives us the possibility to have multiple versions of each letter, and that's exactly what we are doing: Instead of compromising the design of our letters to force connections, we do what lettering artist do. We draw many versions of each letter and a lot of different letter-pairs (aka "ligatures") so we always use the best possible variation of each letter depending of the context of the letter inside each word. All this happens automatically in any browser that supports ligatures. fas: fed500 This is to unretire the package: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/impallari-lobster-fonts Reproducible: Always

Few more things. 1) You can add %license OFL.txt 2) I see version embedded in otf file is 2.100 whereas this srpm uses 1.7 I see https://raw.githubusercontent.com/impallari/The-Lobster-Font/master/sources/Lobster.glyphs shows versionMajor = 2; versionMinor = 100; Can you check with upstream about this versioning issue? Like which version is correct?
Thanks. 2.100 seems correct. Made a pull request: https://github.com/impallari/The-Lobster-Font/pull/13 In which case it is already packaged: https://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/lobster2 https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/texlive/texlive-lobster2/
