I've recently noticed that when booting Fedora 39 Workstation live images and running the installer, the locale is set to English (US) even though I'm in Canada. The geolocation is clearly working because my timezone is set to Vancouver, but it doesn't seem to set the locale correctly. This worked with Fedora 38 Final, and with Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-Rawhide-20230808.n.0.iso . It's broken with 20231002.n.0. I don't have enough images to triage any closer than that ATM.

Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 39-final by Fedora user kkoukiou using the blocker tracking app because: The fix is very simple with visible impact.
thanks, yes, I meant for this to be an FE. Don't know why I didn't propose it.
