Installing the firefox package installs three desktop files: firefox.desktop, firefox-x11.desktop, and firefox-wayland.desktop. All three show up in the Plasma application launcher. The latter two seem to allow to explicitly start Firefox in X11/Wayland mode. Presenting those as user-visible options is a bad idea in the first place IMO as those are implementation details that most users are not concerned about. What's worse though is that launching firefox-x11.desktop/firefox-wayland.desktop doesn't actually work unless the separate firefox-x11/firefox-wayland packages are installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use Fedora 38 KDE 2.Open application launcher 3. Search for Firefox Actual Results: Three search results: "Firefox", "Firefox on X11", "Firefox on Wayland". Launching the latter two doesn't work because of missing executables Expected Results: Launching all of them works, or ideally only one "Firefox" result
