Description of problem: X will no longer start after Jan 24th update and restart on Jan 25th. Close down system. Boot up next day Steps to Reproduce: 1. Update system to packages listed in Additional information. 2. Work on system and detect no problems after upgrade 3. Computer fails to launch X successfully on boot Actual results: Get dialog box to check logs and try to reconfigure X. Screen blanks out and no progress obtained when attempting a reconfiguration of the system. Expected results: X to work and not have any problems loading. Created attachment 146547 [details] Xorg config log I don't recall making changes to this file. The date of the log was Jan 24th so this file could have changed somehow.
Problem remidied by removing libdrm-20061019T1837-1.git.i386.rpm which was installed while testing the nouveau driver and replacing with libdrm-2.3.0-1.fc7.i386.rpm. The presense of the git version did not cause problems until the upgrades listed were applied to the system.
