Start a VM with Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-39-20231017.n.0. You will find the screen seems zoomed in, check the Displays setting you will find Scale is set to 125%. The problem will be solved after you change 125% to 100%. Reproducible: Always Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Display starts at 125% Expected Results: Default display at 100%

Per Nate and Nicolas Fella, this is intentional. Plasma detects based on hardware and resolution what default scaling factor to use.
