Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora-Rawhide-20231018.n.0.iso How reproducible: Very. I tried >5 times and tried both with and without testing the media. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download Fedora-Rawhide-20231018.n.0.iso (from https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/nightlies.html) 2. Burn the iso into a flash drive (using Fedora Media Writer) 3. Select one of the first two GRUB options Actual results: Without modifying the grub command: black screen (lasts over an hour) Removing "rhgb quit": Stuck with "Booting a command list" and a frozen cursor under it. Expected results: Booting normally (as with 38/39). Proposing as a final blocker for F40 due to: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_39_Final_Release_Criteria#macOS_dual_boot This is a regression from F39.
I am now able to dualboot macOS and Rawhide by upgrading from F39 as of two days ago. So I will try the next good nightly build of Workstation live ISO. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 40 development cycle. Changing version to 40.

They get garbage collected after a bit, so if it's not there by the time you come to try, just try the latest from https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/nightlies.html . Again, don't worry if it's not marked 'last known good' unless there are really a ton of failures (you can see the failed tests by mousing over the link to the image).
I was able to successfully boot into the latest nightly Rawhide iso.
