Description of problem:
When trying to remove a repo a pulpcore-worker process will balloon in memory until all memory is consumed and OOM-killer is invoked, similar to what is described in bz 2122872

Syncing repositories does not regularly, if at all, reproduce this problem. Meanwhile, every removal attempt of any repo produces this problem.
