Mozilla Foundation 1861615 0 P3 RESOLVED Freeze at nsUserIdleService::GetIdleTime() 2023-11-03 12:39:16 UTC

Description Gurenko Alex 2023-11-02 16:06:09 UTC
After installing firefox 119 from https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-7915c8f546, system log is spammed with following repeating warnings:

Nov 02 17:02:22 plasmashell[3517]: [Parent 3517, Main Thread] WARNING: Failed to call GetIdletime(): GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name is not activatable
Nov 02 17:02:22 plasmashell[3517]: : 'glib warning', file /builddir/build/BUILD/firefox-119.0/toolkit/xre/nsSigHandlers.cpp:167
Nov 02 17:02:22 firefox[3517]: Failed to call GetIdletime(): GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name is not activatable

Just during last boot:

$ journalctl -b0 | grep "glib warning" | wc -lĀ
3079
$ journalctl -b0 | grep "Failed to call GetIdletime()" | wc -l
6176

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install bodhi update
2. Check logs
Actual Results:
Repeating warning observed

The update itself seems functional and no other issues spotted so far. No such issue have been observed with firefox 118

Here is log captured with nsIUserIdleService:5 provided. Does not look that much different, so please let me know if that's what's expected.
