Description of problem: Running my own OpenGL application. Debug session through VScode. Using Gnome on X11 with the application using an XCB/X11 window interface. I was resizing the window at the time, which means the framebuffer was very probably also being resized. I can't offer much more than that. After automatic lock, the gnome xorg stopped working. After logging in can't use second monitor. Had some Firefox windows open and was filling in some numbers in a Calc sheet.
