We are aware of the new version; however, AFAIK no prusa-slicer maintainer has that package as it's main focus, and the packaging is decidely non-trivial. I recently managed to get the current version bulding in rawhide again, but an attempt to update to 2.6.1 has so far cost me 2 half-days without and end in sight, and I do not have that much time to dedicate to it. I will be more than happy to review any PRs submitted, but barring an activity from someone else, I'm not seeing myself working on that in near future. If you need a workaround, try using the Linux AppImages upstream publishes on their GitHub – they worked for me so far.
