Fixed In Version: ceph-17.2.6-183.el9cp
Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
The `rados cppool` does not preserve selfmanaged snapshots when copying a pool. Therefore, it should be used with care and awareness on pools having this kind of snapshots (e.g. RBD pools) which, across other dangerous commands of Ceph, is ensured by enforcing users to specify the "--yes-i-really-mean-it" parameter. However, this obligatory switch has not been being enforced for RBD pools. The fix brings it back. Now, if user misses the switch, `rados cpppool` ceases the operation and exists with a warning.
