Describe the issue:
Right now, we don't clearly say that ODF can only be installed on flash disks (SSD/NVMe) on any platform.
In chapter 7.1 of "Planning your Deployment" we have a sentence about this for some platforms, but not all of them (e.g. vSphere is missing)
Please add a sentence about this in the documentation - at best in the storage device requirements.

Check wether HDD storage is supported for VMware deployments

Suggestions for improvement:
Needs central note that HDD is not supported
