Description Michael Roth 2023-12-07 06:55:02 UTC
Good Morning,

it happens again. RHEL 9.3 has updated to clang-libs version 16.0.6.
The last package qt-creator-8.0.1-10.el9.x86_64 is build for clang-libs version 15.0.7.

Please rebuild qt-creator for us.

Thank you
Michael Roth

FEDORA-EPEL-2023-4f4cc2f9b2 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 9. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2023-4f4cc2f9b2

Please test this update.
Fedora is switching to Qt6, so updates can not easily be taken from there.
For now I've unbundled clang-format again and updated to 8.0.2.

Done. Works fine on Alma 9.3. Thank you!

Can you elaborate? I do not see much difference between the old and new packages other than the updated dependencies.

But anyway it is working. Thanks again.

Comment 6 Michael Roth 2023-12-08 07:57:07 UTC
Thanks for the recompilation of qt-creator.
The packages seems to be ok.

For us it would be ok to move the package to the epel repository.

Thank you and have a nice day
Michael

Comment 7 thomas.zimmermann@voestalpine.com 2023-12-08 08:04:23 UTC
The automatic process was already started.

The package will be available in stable in 6 days, or earlier if the update in bodhi gets 3 karma points.
So if you want to have it earlier you should give it a karma point in bodhi :-)
