Probably a one off issue. laptop came out of hibernation. Started thunderbird. Realised the ethernet was down, as the broadcom ethernet driver does not work out of hibernation. Exited thunderbird. As root, did > rmmod r8169 ; modprobe r8169 to reload broadcom ethernet driver (my work around). After few second, network connected, so restarted thunderbird. Got pop up form thuderbird already running. Then crashed form poped up. reporter: libreport-2.17.11 cmdline: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird package: thunderbird-115.6.1-1.fc39 kernel: 6.6.12-200.fc39.x86_64 crash_function: nsProfileLock::FatalSignalHandler type: CCpp dso_list: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird thunderbird-115.6.1-1.fc39.x86_64 (Fedora Project) 1705081310 backtrace_rating: 4 rootdir: / executable: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird journald_cursor: s=56f8c632196847e39a95415a713f0908;i=241cff;b=84db3cac52364cfcb11fc959a1617678;m=11f5fd381c;t=60fb3ffa8f20a;x=5093f855b3916b86 uid: 1004 cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1004.slice/user/app.slice/app-mozilla\x2dthunderbird-4dfe1ce13fd540bcbc7258ee5ae40eae.scope runlevel: N 5 reason: thunderbird killed by SIGSEGV

When using "Owl for Exchange" vrsion 1.2.4 (March 7, 2024) for access to Messysoft email added folders still causes Owl to crash. To repeat (simplest way): 1. Login to Outlook via https://outlook.office.com/mail/ 2. Right click on 'Folders' 3. Select 'Add shared folder or mailbox' 4. Select another Messysoft Outlook/Exchange (360 (degrees?) or is that 365 (days?) ) account 5. You will see the folders appear 6. Go into Thunderbird and open the account 7. You will see the folders (assuming it doesn't crash here) 8. Wait hours or just get out of Thunderbird and back in. 9. If the folders have GB of data and/or multiple sub-folders Thunderbird will eventually crash. Given how long and how big the gdb image was in memory, I would guess a recurrsion problem in the Owl or Thunderbird code. reporter: libreport-2.17.11 type: CCpp reason: thunderbird killed by SIGSEGV journald_cursor: s=5087aebb8cea4a3aa8aa63a0c98f0b60;i=298c32;b=4a0f5e4a98ff465286b2fc726df52920;m=a44256f41b;t=615371537270b;x=eaee16f695eedcf9 executable: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird cmdline: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird cgroup: 0::/user.slice/user-1001.slice/user/app.slice/app-gnome-mozilla\x2dthunderbird-655732.scope rootdir: / uid: 1001 kernel: 6.7.9-200.fc39.x86_64 package: thunderbird-115.9.0-1.fc39 runlevel: N 5 dso_list: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird thunderbird-115.9.0-1.fc39.x86_64 (Fedora Project) 1711469933 backtrace_rating: 4 crash_function: nsProfileLock::FatalSignalHandler
