Description carlo.roveta2 2023-12-23 08:37:27 UTC
After updating to version 3.0.20, vlc crashes every time I open a video format file of any type.

Before of that update, vlc perform normally.

I have a nvidia video card, with nvidia kernel driver.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.I open a video file
2.vlc starts and crashes immediately
3.the error message window opens
Actual Results:
simply i can't see any video format file.

Expected Results:
play the video file.

For the record, I cannot reproduce this on an Intel GPU.

Comment 2 Yaakov Selkowitz 2023-12-28 03:12:20 UTC
Please try different output modules and hardware-accelerated decoding settings until you find one that works for you.
