Description Peter Bieringer 2023-12-29 13:35:55 UTC
Description of problem:
currently it's only available for EPEL7, but looks like a build on EPEL8 and EPEL8 works without issues using SRPM from EPEL7:

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=111007690
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=111007879

=> can one please activate build for EPEL8+9, in case of lack of manpower feel free to add me as co-maintainer.

Comment 1 Petr Pisar 2024-01-23 11:37:05 UTC
This package was retired from Fedora and has no maintainer. You would have to unretire the package and become its main maintainer.

Comment 2 Peter Bieringer 2024-01-23 20:57:35 UTC
Hmm, understood, found that it is even stale since longer time in Fedora -> makes no sense to unretire as there is also a replacement option by

perl-Authen-Passphrase having included /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Authen/Passphrase/SaltedDigest.pm

Here it's still maintained, only the EPEL9 build is missing so far.
