Created attachment 2007040 [details] screenshot of the overly large current "Account Assistant" window Since Fedora-Rawhide-20231216.n.0 or so, the "Account Assistant" that appears on first run of KMail is so big it isn't fully visible on a 1024x768 screen, and is not scrollable. See attached screenshot. There is a lot of useless grey padding. This makes the openQA test fail as it can't see the "Cancel" button it needs to click to dismiss this dialog. See the other attached screenshot as a reference for how it looked before.

Hum, now I look, there are similar issues for a couple of other apps: * Kontakt has the same overly large "Account Assistant" window * NeoChat has a "Welcome to NeoChat" window with just a couple of UI elements and a *huge* amount of padding, it seems to be the same size as the Account Assistant window So this may be, I dunno, a qt issue? Lil help? Screenshot of NeoChat added.

According to Tobias Fella, there is no Cancel button to click in the first place?
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 40 development cycle. Changing version to 40.
This seems to be fixed for KMail and Kontakt in Plasma 6. Neochat still seems to be slightly oversize - https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/2456722#step/konversation/2
oh, and there *used* to be a cancel button. I guess it's gone now. Lukas tweaked the test to hit the close button instead.
