Description of problem:
compiz --replace freezes Xfce-Desktop in Fedora 39

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
compiz-0.8.18-9.fc39.x86_64

How reproducible:
after each compiz --replace

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start Fedora 39 in VirtualBox
2.select "Xfce" in Login-Screen
3.compiz --replace freezes Xfce-Desktop

Actual results:
Desktop freezes


Expected results:
compiz run well

Additional info:
after Upgrade from Fedora 38 to 39
