Picard 2.11 is now available in the testing repository. See if that resolves your issue. If not, submit the abrt report.
Thanks!

Comment 14 Tarulia 2024-01-31 23:02:44 UTC
Updated to 2.11 as per bz#2260160, still segfaulting on launch

Comment 15 Gerald Cox 2024-02-01 09:55:28 UTC
I’m going to submit this to upstream but need the current backtraces for 2.11, unless I’m incorrect the files attached to this report are for 2.10.

Comment 16 Gerald Cox 2024-02-01 09:57:11 UTC
It may be easier for you to leave this report closed and let abrt open a new bug report for 2.11 that includes the backtrace files.

Comment 17 Tarulia 2024-02-01 14:47:06 UTC
Yeah I was wondering why abrt didn't include a backtrace, but no big deal.

How exactly would I do that? abrt attached to this id automatically :D

Comments from picard upstream:

I am going to close this issue as I don't think there is any todo from Picard's side. It is also not reproducible on my system (Ubuntu) using Python 3.12.1 and PyQt 5.15.10
As the issue seems to have started happening just recently, has there been any update in Fedora to PyQt5 or Python 3.12 that might be related in the last weeks?

All have the same combination of PyQt5 calls ending in a call to PyType_HasFeature
So I'd say the issue is either in PyQt5 or even Python 3.12, and it might be specific to the Fedora builds. Or at least very recent versions of either of those components.
