The perl-Test-Vars package is FTBFS with Perl 5.38 and I intend to retire it soon since there has been no activity on this upstream for many months and I can't fix it myself. The perl-Test-Apocalypse package pulls in Test::Vars as both a build-time and run-time requirement. Back in the days of Perl 5.22 there was a similar issue with Test::Vars (that eventually got fixed) and the approach taken then was to drop the parts of perl-Test-Apocalypse that needed Test::Vars (Bug #1231903). Perhaps that could be done again? Alternatively, I can hand over the perl-Test-Vars package to you and you can try to fix it/get it fixed yourself. Please let me know your preference. In the meantime I'm working to get the other dependants of perl-Test-Vars to drop the dependency in Rawhide. Reproducible: Always
I will retire perl-Test-Apocalypse. It's only a metamodule without any additional value. The only user in Fedora is perl-Test-Pod-No404s and that's only an optional test and the test should have been disabled for many years. Also perl-Test-Apocalypse upstream was not much active regarding this Test::Vars problem so far.
I retired this package. It should disappear from next Rawhide compose.
Thanks!
