Hi Tom, How is this packaging work progressing? I am checking in on all F40 changes now that we are passed the Testable deadline and coming into the beta freeze and 100% complete deadline. Any updates you have on the progress of this work would be most helpful to understand if things are still all on track or not. Thanks! Aoife
ROCm 6.0 was already in rawhide when f40 was cut and is just an update to the previous ROCm version. There are a several new packages added from f39 to f40, as I will expect there will be a few more from f40 to f41. No show stoppers afaik.
well, scope of the change is "The feature owners accomplished packaging the new version of ROCm 6 for Fedora. This provides basic accelerated functionally that should be used by any package that can take advantage of it.", so if 6.0 is already in, this is effectively complete, yes? So, setting to ON_QA (the appropriate status for 100% complete changes).
F40 was released on 2024-04-23, so I am closing this tracker. If this Change was not completed, please notify me ASAP.
