I have not seen this happen in my testing - assigning to xinted owner. xinetd obsoletes inetd, this can't happen. What does "rpm -qf /usr/sbin/inetd" give you? It says netkit-base-0.10-37 I had this problem on 2 computers moving from RH6.2 to RH7.0 out of a bunch of about 10. 6.2 should have inetd in the inetd rpm... anyway, netkit-base has also been marked obsolete since 2000-10-31, so the fix should be part of xinetd-2.1.8.9pre12-2 and newer, |
