Comment 1 Avinash Hanwate 2024-02-29 06:53:08 UTC
Created kernel tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 2266821]

Comment 2 Justin M. Forbes 2024-03-01 22:29:57 UTC
This was fixed for Fedora with the 5.11.20 stable kernel updates.

The result of automatic check (that is developed by Alexander Larkin) for this CVE-2021-46961 is: CHECK	Maybe valid. Check manually. with impact MODERATE (that is approximation based on flags DANGER ; these flags parsed automatically based on patche data). Such automatic check happens only for Low/Moderates (and only when not from reporter, but parsing already existing CVE). Highs always checked manually (I check it myself and then we check it again in Remediation team). In rare cases some of the Moderates could be increased to High later.

Comment 12 Mark Salter 2024-07-16 14:00:32 UTC
The reported fix for this issue was backported into RHEL-8.6
The reported problem was only triggered when using pseudo-nmi which was not enabled until RHEL-8.9
This is an ARM-only problem and there is no RT kernel for Arm in RHEL-8
