Fedora 40 and later is not affected, as it contains the patch for this issue: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/unixODBC/c/7f199a018ee0ffa758415f0500c672b7cd38a43c?branch=rawhide and was built and shipped in Bodhi: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-6cd06df2a9 Only Fedora 39 and older are affected at this moment.
After careful research, I've been able to prove the CVE is not applicable to neither Fedora, nor RHEL. See the linked CVE for details.
