Created attachment 147246 [details] Patch converting int -> sector_t in scsi_dump.c Patch changing the type used to store sector numbers to sector_t and switching to READ_16 for (block > 0xffffffff).
The types of start_sect and nr_sects fields of disk_dump_partition is unsigned int. They also should be changed to sector_t if over 2TB memory support is requested.
Created attachment 148883 [details] linux-2.6.9-scsidump-read16.patch I updated the patch. The type of the start_sect and nr_sects fields of the disk_dump_partition structure were changed from unsigned long to sector_t.
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release.
