Description Stephen Gallagher 2024-03-27 12:55:24 UTC
The MUMPS.spec file is using the %{eln} macro, which is restricted to approval[1] by the ELN SIG.

It appears that MUMPS is using this to treat ELN as "like Fedora" instead of its intended behavior as "like RHEL". The use of this macro causes MUMPS to pull in flexiblas and disable openmpi, which it would not do when built for RHEL.

The ELN SIG would like you to correct this behavior or else open a ticket to justify why it must behave differently between ELN and RHEL.

[1] See ELN FAQ question "When should I use the rpm macro %{eln}?" at https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/eln/faq/

Reproducible: Always
