Description Joshua Strobl 2024-04-02 15:02:01 UTC
With the change to Firefox's desktop file, budgie-desktop-defaults needed to be updated to point to the "new" file. Without it, the IconTasklist widget is missing the pinned app.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot up an F40 Budgie Spin ISO
2. See no Firefox app in panel

Actual Results:
No Firefox app.

Expected Results:
See Firefox app in panel.

Workaround: Launch firefox and pin it after installation.

Comment 2 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2024-04-02 18:15:29 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 40-final by Fedora user joshstrobl using the blocker tracking app because:

Very minor cosmetic issue with Budgie defaults. Without the related update, the live ISO and default installations will not have Firefox already pinned / favorited in Budgie's "IconTasklist" (shows favorited and other currently running applications).
