Spec URL: https://rmattes.fedorapeople.org/RPMS/dart/dart.spec SRPM URL: https://rmattes.fedorapeople.org/RPMS/dart/dart-6.13.2-2.fc39.src.rpm Description: DART (Dynamic Animation and Robotics Toolkit) is a collaborative, cross- platform, open source library created by the Georgia Tech Graphics Lab and Humanoid Robotics Lab. The library provides data structures and algorithms for kinematic and dynamic applications in robotics and computer animation. DART is distinguished by its accuracy and stability due to its use of generalized coordinates to represent articulated rigid body systems and computation of Lagrange's equations derived from D.Alembert's principle to describe the dynamics of motion. Regarding the package name, you might consider that there is also https://dart.dev Not sure if dart (the language / VM) and / or flutter (the toolkit) are planned to be packaged for Fedora at some point, but I think at least ubuntu is now developing some components with it.
Fair. Debian/ubuntu are using the "dart" source package name for the same library: - https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/mantic/dart - https://packages.debian.org/source/bookworm/dart I can't find any references to dart (language) or flutter in their package databases. Maybe "dart-lang" or "dart-sdk" could be used for the language if/when it ever gets packaged?
Ah, if the package name for this project is also "dart" in both debian and ubuntu then I don't think there's a reason to diverge. Thanks for checking!
This is an automatic check from review-stats script. This review request ticket hasn't been updated for some time. We're sorry it is taking so long. If you're still interested in packaging this software into Fedora repositories, please respond to this comment clearing the NEEDINFO flag. You may want to update the specfile and the src.rpm to the latest version available and to propose a review swap on Fedora devel mailing list to increase chances to have your package reviewed. If this is your first package and you need a sponsor, you may want to post some informal reviews. Read more at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_get_sponsored_into_the_packager_group. Without any reply, this request will shortly be considered abandoned and will be closed. Thank you for your patience.
