Created attachment 2027746 [details] consumption trend Description of problem (please be detailed as possible and provide log snippests): Storage consumption per day graph is showing the data correctly. I observed "Average" and "Estimated days to fill" is showing a value '0' always. Please refer attached snapshots for reference. Version of all relevant components (if applicable): ODF: 4.16.0-79.stable OCP: 4.16.0-0.nightly-2024-04-16-195622 Does this issue impact your ability to continue to work with the product (please explain in detail what is the user impact)? Yes Is there any workaround available to the best of your knowledge? Rate from 1 - 5 the complexity of the scenario you performed that caused this bug (1 - very simple, 5 - very complex)? Can this issue reproducible? Can this issue reproduce from the UI? If this is a regression, please provide more details to justify this: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
in the cluster, there are 3 instances of mgr metrics. which shouldn't happen, in a regular cluster, there are a couple bugs on the ceph sides tracking this reducing the severity to medium, as in a healthy cluster i can see the values correctly
As part of happy path testing, I never induced any failures for Mgr manually. It happened automatically in background. Now, as part of this BZ verification I tried to reproduce this BZ by failovering active mgr from 'a' to 'b' and observed that 'average' values went 3 times higher than the total consumption of Raw capacity. Due to this "Estimated days till full" also shown wrong value. Please refer to the sceenshot attached.
This can be a valid bug but IMHO this should not be a happy path blocker (or a test blocker for that matter) where we are failing over the managers.
Please evaluate and provide qa_ack.
