The gnome-terminal version in F40 is still on an outdated 3.50.1 that was released more than half a year ago and is intended for GNOME 45. Please, consider updating to a latest stable 3.52.0 that is intended for use with GNOME 46. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use latest, fully updated Fedora 40 system. 2. Run "rpm -q gnome-terminal". 3. See the result. Actual Results: gnome-terminal-3.50.1-6.fc40.x86_64 Expected Results: gnome-terminal-3.52.0-1.fc40.x86_64
