I just upgraded from Fedora 39 to Fedora 40. The keepass application aborts on startup. The message I get is "Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module". Then there is an Aborted (core dumped) message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start keepass. I did both my clicking on the icon and entering the command "keepass" in a command window. 2. 3. Actual Results: I did briefly see the window to enter the password. Then it went away and the application core dumped. Just wanted to add that I did a dnf remove keepass, and then a dnf install keepass. It still crashed after being reinstalled.
I am still on F39 but will investigate once I upgrade.
This might have something to do with zlib-ng migration given that mono and keepass ship the same versions in f39 and f40.
(This is a guess based on at System.IO.Compression.DeflateStreamNative:CloseZStream <0x00092> in the stack trace)
Confirmed this is caused by zlib-ng migration. I have installed zlib-1.2.13-5.fc40 from koji and the issue went away.

I can confirm that installing the scratch build from the PR fixes the problem.

I believe tpokorra was the last person doing the active maintenance.
Maybe @yselkowi can have a look. He applied some patches within the last year...
