Please branch and build easyloggingpp in epel8. If you do not wish to maintain easyloggingpp in epel8, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packagers-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/easyloggingpp/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches. I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: salimma); please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/easyloggingpp/adduser
It looks like I had done the necessary backporting work in a branch when I imported the package, https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/music/rpms/easyloggingpp/c/996597b5881bb723572f0a95d50ee0a6c4b17245?branch=epel8test but never requested an EPEL8 branch. I don’t remember why. Maybe there was a problem with the build that was resolved by a point release of RHEL8. Maybe I just forgot. Anyway, this appears to be viable for EPEL8, so I’m happy to introduce it there. Although I don’t expect much activity on this package, I’m also happy to add you as a co-maintainer.

Yeah, the unbundled EternalTerminal (et) package can't be built on epel8 without easyloggingpp, and I'm trying to get it updated to the latest version to fix some CVEs. Happy to comaintain
